Driftwood offers award-winning dog training! If you seek a method of training that does not require treats or harsh corrections you have come to the right place!
Wendy Shaw is our certified dog trainer with over 25 years of experience. Wendy practices balanced training through dog psychology. She specializes in behavior modification and aggression.
We offer train while boarding, individual lessons (at the resort & in your home), and group classes. We have a program that is right for every dog!
Wendy is also our resort General Manager and a Pro-trainings instructor for Pet CPR & First Aid.

In Home Training
Specific to your needs, most commonly used for behavior issues.

Individual Lesson with Owner
On location at Driftwood. Specific to your needs, for example - work on no jumping.

Train While Board
All-inclusive (7-night min.) includes boarding, one activity per day, training, and a bath on the departing day. The training requested will determine the length of time needed.

Group Classses
5-week course - Meets once a week for 1-hour Basic Obedience - Work on sit, down, come, stay, wait, walking on a leash, and distractions.
